Getting Started
PBC Languages is a language learning platform where students book live sessions with experienced teachers. We offer both group and private sessions across multiple languages, helping you practice and improve through real conversation.
Click "Register" in the top menu, fill in your details, and you're ready to go. As a new student, you'll receive free trial credits to book your first session.
We currently offer sessions in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Check our schedule to see available sessions for each language.
Booking & Sessions
Go to the Schedule page, browse available time slots, and click on one that suits you. Choose your session type (group or private), select your level and topic, then confirm your booking. Credits will be deducted automatically.
Group sessions allow you to learn alongside other students, which is great for conversational practice. Private sessions are 1-on-1 with a teacher for personalized attention. Private sessions cost more credits than group sessions.
Yes, you can cancel a booking from your dashboard. When you cancel, the credits used for that session will be refunded back to your account.
Sessions are typically 45 minutes long for both group and private classes.
Credits & Payments
You purchase credits through a subscription plan. Each session costs a certain number of credits depending on the type (group or private). When you book a session, credits are deducted. If you cancel, credits are refunded.
If you cancel your subscription, you'll have a 30-day grace period to use your remaining credits. After that, unused credits will expire.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Yes! New students receive 2 free trial credits upon registration, which you can use to book your first session and experience the platform.
Account & Technical
Once you've booked a session, you'll receive a confirmation email with a meeting link. You can also find the link in your dashboard under your upcoming classes. Just click the link at the scheduled time to join.
Yes, go to your Profile settings and update your timezone. All session times on the schedule and in your emails will be displayed in your selected timezone.
If you're logged in, click your name in the top right corner and select "Change Password". If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to receive a reset email.
