It’s official: Babbel Live has ended my teaching contract, and I’m okay with it.

Hi everyone, I just received the formal notice from Babbel Live: my contract as a teacher will end on July 1st, 2025, along with the platform’s B2C operations.
Am I sad? Of course. Over the last year I taught 810 hours on Babbel Live, and it wasn’t just “another platform.” It became a space where I connected with hundreds of students across the world. Some of them joined class after class, building not only their Spanish, but real confidence.
I received a satisfaction rating of 4.8/5, and more importantly… I witnessed how language learning changed people’s lives.
But now, it’s time for something new.
💬 Together with other teachers and students, I’m co-creating a Post-Babel Community — a flexible, human-first space for live classes, where connection comes before automation.
It won’t be fancy. It won’t be corporate. But it will be real. And maybe that’s exactly what we need.
If you're a former student or teacher and want to stay in the loop, you’re more than welcome to join:
🔗 Join Us – One Doc to Understand It All🌍 Post-Babbel Language Community (Facebook)💼 LinkedIn Group📅 Next live event – May 28, 6:00pm Madrid / 12:00pm NY
I’ll keep showing up, keep teaching, and keep believing in the power of language to bring people together, even after Babbel.
Thanks to everyone who’s walked this road with me. Let’s see where it leads next.
